Bolder Way Forward for Utah

Daggett County Coalition                                                                                 A Bolder Way Forward Logo

Daggett County is a county in the northeastern corner of the U.S. state of Utah with approximately 950 residents, making it the least populous county in Utah. Its beautiful terrain brings many visitors there each year. Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward Framework, the Daggett County Coalition strives to bring the BWF message to each town, business, neighborhood, and family within the county. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” the Coalition looks at who is currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and what programs and efforts already support women and families in Daggett County. The co-leads, leadership team, and other interested members facilitate communication, resource sharing, and new initiatives or programs as needed and connect Daggett County with statewide efforts. By lifting women and girls in our county, we lift all residents. To learn more about what you can do to strengthen the impact of girls and women in Daggett County, read the "What Can I Do?" report.

Co-Leads & Leadership Team

We are currently looking for co-leads that care about ensuring the women and girls in Daggett County are thriving. The word “thrive” means that an individual is flourishing, feeling a sense of wellbeing, actively developing, and progressing toward or realizing a goal despite or because of circumstances. A woman who is thriving has choices and opportunities to become who she would like to become and to contribute in ways she would like to contribute. In addition to Utah girls and women working for themselves to thrive, there are many efforts and actions that all of us can engage in to make this a reality for all.

Get Engaged: There are many ways to get engaged with the Daggett County BWF Coalition and its mission and efforts to lift Utah girls and women. Anyone across the county can assist by raising awareness, volunteering, connecting, and donating.  Contact Amy Anderson at amy.z.anderson@usu.edu to share details about you or your organization and the ways you’d like to get involved. Thank you for your interest!
