Bolder Way Forward for Utah

Emery County

BWF logo

Emery County is unique due to our new brand: Life Energized. The county has power generation, mining, and solar power to help meet the energy needs of Utah. With close to 10,000 residents, our unique location in southeastern Utah lends itself to many varied outdoor recreational activities. Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward (BWF) Framework, the Emery County leaders strive to bring the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family. A BWF Southeast Regional Coalition including Carbon, Emery, Grand, and San Juan Counties amplifies the efforts in all the counties. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” we look at individuals and organizations currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and elevate existing efforts. By lifting women and girls, we lift all residents.
