Bolder Way Forward for Utah

Millard County

BWF logo

Established in 1851, Millard County is home to the first territorial capital. With a population of approximately 13,500, the county is an energy hub for Utah with solar, wind, and geothermal resources. Its diverse landscapes, ranging from mountain ranges to sand dunes and desert, make it a great place to live and explore. Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward (BWF) Framework, the Millard County leaders bring the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family. The County Coalition is part of the BWF Six County Regional Coalition including Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, and Wayne Counties which together amplify the efforts in the region. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” we look at individuals and organizations currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and elevate existing efforts. By lifting women and girls, we lift all residents.
