Bolder Way Forward for Utah

Wayne County

BWF logo

Wayne County is distinctive due to our unique history and beauty. Home to Capitol Reef National Park and the stunning landscapes of Cathedral Valley and the Bentonite Hills, we are a hidden gem for travelers. With a population of less than 3,000 people in our small towns and communities, we thrive on tourism, ranching and agriculture. Because grassroots is key to long-term societal change in the Bolder Way Forward (BWF) Framework, the Wayne County leaders bring the BWF message to every city, town, business, neighborhood, and family. The County Coalition is part of the BWF Six County Regional Coalition including Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, and Wayne Counties which together amplify the efforts in the region. Since the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” we look at individuals and organizations currently doing the work in each spoke, or focus area, and strive to elevate existing efforts. By lifting women and girls, we lift all residents.
