Colleagues,

I have a number of Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) announcements for July:

First, we are pleased to announce the release of a new research and policy brief titled “100 Companies Championing Women: An Analysis of Best Practices for Utah Companies” (based on a partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and the Cox-Henderson Administration). Additionally, we released four new “What Can I Do?” idea sheets for Emery County, Grand County, San Juan County, and Weber County (based on community gatherings). Thanks to everyone involved in these publications.

Second, we are excited to announce that we officially launched Utah’s ‘A Bolder Way Forward’ (BWF) initiative with a successful, energetic, and well-attended gathering on June 9 (thanks to Zions Bank for their partnership). If you would like to be involved with ensuring that more Utah women and girls thrive, please take this brief survey so we can learn more about your interests and passions around the topic. Third, we have a few new UWLP resources to highlight this month:

• New Podcast Episodes (with Utah Public Radio): 100 Companies Championing Women (Northrop Grumman and Weave), Domestic Violence Among Utah Women: A 2023 Update, Utah Women and Fertility: Trends and Changes from 1970–2021, and Maternal Mental Health Among Utah Women
