Good morning! I have a number of Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) announcements for August:

First, I am pleased to announce the release of a new research and policy brief today titled “Utah Women in STEM Education: A 2025 Update” (with co-authors Dr. Robyn Blackburn and Kolene Anderson). As you read, you’ll find some interesting updates on how things have shifted.

Second, we have a few resources to highlight this month:

• Curriculum: College & Leadership: Opening the Door to Your Future (1-hour course for girls/young women ages 10-15)
• Curriculum: Exploring Your Purpose: Talents, Callings, and Influence (4-part interactive course for small groups of women in any setting)
• Curriculum: Male Allyship: A New Conversation (5-part interactive course for small groups of men in any setting)
• Resources: Resources in Spanish
• Community Calendar: View our community calendar for all events in Utah for girls and women.

Third, if your organization (e.g., company, nonprofit, faith-based, city/town, educational institution) is interested in becoming A Bolder Way Forward Partner, it is time to get involved. Reducing violence, narrowing gaps, and increasing opportunities for girls, women, and families should be important to all of us! In addition, email me or complete this interest survey if you are ready to engage no matter where you live throughout the state (we have county coalitions set up in all 29). Work with us to ensure that more Utahns thrive!
