April 2026 Newsletter
April Newsletter for the Utah Women & Leadership Project at Utah State University.
Colleagues,
Good morning! I have several Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) announcements for April:
First, you can RSVP for the A Bolder Way Forward: Quarterly Impact Forum on April 6 to hear updates on the UWLP and BWF, new and emerging resources, recent research findings, and inspiring progress happening across the BWF movement.
Second, I’m thrilled to introduce our new UWLP Resource Library — a curated collection of 25 resource kits designed for BWF spokes and other key topics that strengthen the impact of Utah girls and women. Each kit brings together everything you need in one place, including research reports, podcasts, videos, webinars, articles, community organizations, and more. Our goal is to make each kit the definitive “go‑to” hub for anyone seeking high‑quality, research-based information and tools.
Third, I am pleased to announce the release of a new research snapshot titled “Utah Women and Skilled Trades.” This snapshot examines job demand in the skilled trades, trends in women’s participation, and ways to increase opportunities for Utah women in these careers. Additionally, a few weeks ago we released a new white paper titled “Home, Health, Community, & Allyship 2025: Utahns’ Awareness, Understanding, and Attitudes” which is the fifth and final white paper sharing results from the UWLP 2025 Fall Survey.
Fourth, we have a few resources to highlight this month:
