Women of Color – Resource Kit

In our multi-demographic world, we all thrive when we embrace the perspectives, lived experiences, and all-encompassing intersectionality of our humanity. Because the challenges Utah women and girls face disproportionally affect minority women and girls, it is critical that we don’t ignore the populations in our community who are hit hardest, and we bring to the table diverse voices representing all race/ethnic groups. Although the Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) includes race/ethnic data, when available in all our reports and analyses, this webpage includes specific resources focused on Women of Color. A Bolder Way Forward (BWF) has a Race & Ethnicity Belonging Team that has also offered resources as well. To get involved in positive change, take action by exploring what you can do as individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
