The VRO staff and students extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Mitch Steen who was a huge blessing to our organization. Mitch was an inaugural member of the SVA (original first 4 members), helping to build it from scratch, served two terms as SVA Vice President, was the Senior Work Study in the VRO, training newer work studies to an exceedingly high standard, and was a friend to all, helping to grow the VRO into what it is today. We will all remember how Mitch hosted the first-ever VRO Range Day, building a close quarter battle (CQB) training course for fellow veterans to enjoy. Mitch is leaving us for bigger and better things, and we can’t say enough wonderful things to express our gratitude for all he has done for the VRO. He left big shoes to fill!
