On Wednesday, Nov 8, 2023, President Cantwell graciously attended a luncheon in the VRO, meeting the student-Veterans and their family members attending school at USU. She spent considerable time listening to each student, getting to know the SMVF student population prior to her upcoming Veterans Day remarks to the student body. During the luncheon she expressed her appreciation to the Veterans for their selfless service and sacrifice. The VRO felt very honored to get to know their new University President in such an intimate setting.
