On Monday, March 27th, President Noelle Cockett joined a group of student-veterans and family members in the Veterans Resource Office for lunch. President Cockett was extremely gracious, taking time to introduce herself and to answer questions. She also asked everyone present to tell her their names, what branch of service they represented and what they were studying at USU. Intently listening, she asked many follow-up questions really taking the time to get to know the veterans that were present. After the hour-long luncheon, she told the VRO Director, Andy Allen, “What a fun, fun lunch!!!” Then she complimented the VRO for creating “a really strong community for a group of people who deserve our support.” What a wonderful lunch we had with President Noelle Cockett.
