Right Referral: Study Abroad, Office of Global Engagement & Pre-Health Advising
Workshop/Training
Study Abroad will talk about program types for students, benefits of study abroad, and how credits work with study abroad. We'll also talk about when we would refer students to academic advisors, and when academic advisors would want to refer students to us - both for outgoing students and incoming exchange students. We will also chat about funding and the Global Engagement Scholar transcript designation. Most students interested in healthcare don’t follow a single “pre-med” path, they come from over 160 majors across every college, often without a clear roadmap. This session shows how Pre-Health Advising helps those students navigate prerequisites, build meaningful experiences, and prepare competitive applications without adding guesswork to your advising. Learn when to refer, what resources to trust, and how we partner to keep students on track early - before small missteps become costly delays.

Unbridled Awareness an Equine Assisted Program
Workshop/Training
Unbridled Awareness is a five-week equine-assisted program offered in conjunction with the USU Mind Body Bridging Clinic. Participants learn Mind-Body Bridging practices in a classroom setting, then apply them directly in the arena with the horses. Horses respond to your actual state, not your story about it, making them uniquely effective partners for practicing the MBB Shift in real time. Open to all community members interested in building awareness, self-regulation, and resilience.
The Outsider

THE OUTSIDER
By Paul Slade Smith
"Ned Newley doesn't even want to be governor. He's terrified of public speaking; his poll numbers are impressively bad. To his ever-supportive Chief of Staff, Ned seems destined to fail. But political consultant Arthur Vance sees things differently: Ned might be the worst candidate to ever run for office. Unless the public is looking for... the worst candidate to ever run for office. A timely and hilarious comedy that skewers politics and celebrates democracy."

The Power of AI for Job Seekers Virtual Workshop
Workshop/Training
If you're job hunting right now, you already know the rules have changed. The people you're competing with are using AI to write their resumes, tailor cover letters to each posting, and rehearse for interviews. Showing up without those same tools can leave even strong candidates a step behind. This workshop is a practical, no-fluff session that puts AI to work at every step of your job search journey. We focus on what's actually useful: the exact prompts that produce quality results, and the small tweaks that turn a mediocre AI response into a great one. Spots are limited so we can keep things interactive. Register to save your spot!

COME FROM AWAY
Book, Music & Lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein
“What began as an average day in the town of Gander, Newfoundland, turned into an international sleepover when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander welcomed the stranded travelers with music, an open bar, and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.”

FOREVER PLAID
Written and Originally Directed & Choreographed by Stuart Ross
“Once upon a time, there were four guys (Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie) who discovered that they shared a love for music... Rehearsing in the basement of Smudge's family's plumbing supply company, they became "Forever Plaid". On the way to their first big gig, the "Plaids" are broadsided by a school bus and killed instantly. It is at this moment when their careers and lives end that the story of Forever Plaid begins.”
