Why a Veterinary Clinic
I wanted to have this internship because I am trying to become a veterinarian myself. The best way to achieve this goal is to seek the guidance of people who have already achieved this in life. While I am there the veterinary techs and veterinarians teach me many different aspects of running a clinic. It has been a tremendous amount of information to learn but I have been soaking it up like a sponge.
What I Do at the Clinic
- I will prep animals for surgery
- Shadowing the doctors during physical exams and surgeries.
- Note Taking during exams and after surgeries
- Teeth cleanings to prevent gingivitis
- Take X-Rays
