Brand Standards: Videos


Video gives us the opportunity to tell our stories and show what being an Aggie is all about. It helps the viewer put themself into that situation and experience what that life is like. Since our videos are based on real students, faculty and alumni, the tone should feel human, inspiring and tap into that desire to create, explore and make an impact.

The look and feel should capture the scenic location, the aggie experience, and provide visual cues that connect it directly to USU. When videoing subjects, catch them in action, while also capturing snippets of their lives and personal moments. Always try to make sure they come from an authentic, relatable place. Use footage that pays off the message and consider branding elements throughout the video that illustrates it is part of Utah State University. Our brand is visually represented through video imagery, story, titles and logo use.
