Current Community-Engaged Learning Courses
Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) designated courses include an aspect of community-engaged teaching or research that enriches the learning experience, teaches civic responsibility, and strengthens communities. Students who take these classes develop civic awareness and leadership skills, are able to practically apply their course materials and professional skills to address a community need, and engage in meaningful classroom reflection and discussion.

Look Up a CEL Course Through Banner
Go to main menu and click on “Student.”.
Click on “Registration.”
Click on “Look Up Classes.”
Select the term and submit.
Click on “Advanced Search” at bottom of page.
Under “Attribute Type,” select “Community-Engaged Learning (CEL).” Current CEL course offerings under each subject will be listed. It might take a few seconds for the Search button to reappear at the bottom of the page.
