The Climate Adaptation Science (CAS) Program is a 9-credit interdisciplinary graduate specialization that is available to MS and PhD students at Utah State University. The program provides students with direct experience in actionable science through research and community connection.
This graduate STEM education program gives students the opportunity to acquire broad technical literacy, encounter various points of view about science, have multiple mentors (including those from beyond academia), communicate their results to different audiences, think about broader impacts, work on team projects, and explore career options in a context where nonacademic careers are not stigmatized.
