History

Reflecting Utah State University's dedication to excellence and respect, former President Cantwell established the Center for Community in June 2024. This action, taken in compliance with Utah State Law HB261 creates a dedicated resource to cultivate stronger connections between the university and the communities it serves. The Center achieves this by coordinating and supporting community building, cultural celebrations, and educational opportunities that empower students to contribute meaningfully as global citizens.

Strategy

We foster cultural understanding by sponsoring, collaborating, and promoting opportunities for campus and community members to engage with a broad array of cultures, traditions, and perspectives through educational programs and meaningful exchanges.
