About This Minor
The Residential Landscape Design minor at Utah State University's College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, Department of Plants, Soils and Climate, is designed for students in other majors who wish to add a design component to their skill set.
The program focuses on developing a working knowledge of residential landscape design, including graphics, illustration, construction methods, and sustainable landscaping techniques.
What You Will Learn
Students in the Residential Landscape Design minor will study herbaceous and woody plant materials, graphics and illustration techniques, residential landscape design principles, construction methods for residential landscape installation, computer-aided landscape design, and sustainable low water landscaping.
