The Veterinary Technology Associate’s degree at Utah State University is designed for students seeking a rewarding career in animal healthcare.

Students can begin the Veterinary Technology A.S. degree at USU in Logan, following a two-year degree plan. Alternatively, they can complete a Veterinary Assistant Certificate at a Utah System of Higher Education (USHE) institution, such as Bridgerland Technical College or USU's Blanding campus, and articulate up to 18 course credits toward this A.S. degree at USU. The program’s flexibility makes it accessible to students from diverse educational backgrounds and locations.
Graduates of the program are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce as skilled veterinary technicians or continue their education toward a bachelor’s degree or other advanced training in veterinary science. Academic advisors work closely with students to develop a customized program of study that aligns with their career goals.
What You Will Learn
