Now is the time to apply for USU general and departmental scholarships!
FAFSA is now open! Need-based scholarships will be available in late February or early March due to the time it will take the federal government and USU to process your FAFSA. Please check back in May 2024 on your Scholarship Application Portal for those awards.
Utah State University provides hundreds of scholarship opportunities to admitted incoming students and current students. Students are encouraged to submit the USU General Scholarship Application. This application uses student information to match students to institutional and private scholarship opportunities.
USU General Scholarship Application
Current and admitted USU Students (incoming, certificate-seeking, undergraduate and graduate students) attending any USU location will find:
Institutional (USU) scholarships
Private, Community, and Corporate scholarships
College, Department, Major and Campus specific scholarships
As an Aggie, your profile has already been created. You will be asked to answer additional questions about your experience, employment and involvement. The more questions answered, the increased likelihood of being matched to scholarships. All students eligible to submit a FAFSA are encouraged to do so as it may increase the number of scholarships you are matched to.
A copy of your scholarship agreement was emailed to you. Check your USU and non-USU email accounts for an email with the following subject line: USU Scholarship Acceptance. If you are still unable to locate your scholarship agreement, please contact email@example.com.
If you wish to submit an appeal for a scholarship you applied for, complete the online form linked below. Some reasons students submit an appeal is to request a reduced credit hour requirement, explain extenuating circumstances, using their scholarship during summer term, etc.
