2025 International Education Week
Every year the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education celebrate global education during International Education Week, held across the nation at university campuses, in November. The Office of Global Engagement and the Global Engagement Ambassadors co-present International Education Week, November 17-21, 2025, with in-person and virtual events celebrating our global community.

Interested in language learning and national security? Get funding to study a region or language critical to U.S. national security. Boren recipients commit to one year of federal service after graduation. Attend the workshop to learn about application requirements and tips for success.

Gilman Workshop
Are you a Federal Pell Grant recipient? Apply for the Gilman Scholarship and earn up to $5,000 to study abroad — or up to $8,000 for a critical need language! Attend the workshop to learn about application requirements and tips for a strong essay.
