Reminder Things to Remember
-
Do not submit multiple requests for the same family. Multiple requests make the list unnecessarily long and will delay the application process. We will disregard all requests from a family if more than one is made.
-
Application requests will be placed on a list in the order they are received. We will begin emailing the application link on a first-come, first-served basis to those on the list and applications will be sent in batches until all spaces are filled.
-
The request must be made by a student with a University ID number and preferably the family member who will be a student for the longest amount of time while you are living on-campus.
-
Once an Family Housing application has been sent, applicants will have 48 hours to submit the application. If it is not received within this time, it will not be accepted, and we will continue down the list to other requests. We will notify those remaining on the list when all spaces have been filled and there is no longer availability.
-
Although you may apply without providing these documents, you are required to provide a copy of your marriage certificate and/or birth certificate for each child within two months of moving in.
-
Townhouses will not be available to new residents. Townhouses will only be assigned to current Family Housing residents as requested, according to availability.
-
We will ask for a preferred arrival date on the application. But keep in mind we can’t guarantee that we can meet that date. We will do our best to come as close as possible but be aware that the new date will always be after your preferred date, never before. You may need a plan for somewhere to stay temporarily if you will be between apartments.
