2026-2027 Same-day Housing Sign-up

Each year, beginning on April 1, Single Student Housing sign-ups shift from the traditional sign-up process to a waitlist process. As of July 20, the waitlist has been discontinued and same-day sign-ups are now available.

Once you have been admitted to Utah State University and your university enrollment deposit has been paid, you may sign up for fall 2026/spring 2027 (academic year) housing by clicking the button link below.

On-Campus Contracts for Sale
Students can explore the on-campus contracts for sale which are updated occasionally as students with 2026-2027 contracts change their plans and list their contracts for sale on the Housing website.

I already signed up for housing, but I want to live in a different building.

If you have already signed a Housing Contract, and you'd like to live in a different building, please use the "Building and Room Change" process/tool in the Housing Portal to change your booking before move-ins.

Do I need to pay the Enrollment Deposit to sign up?

Yes. You do need to pay the USU Enrollment Deposit in order to sign up for housing.

When do I pay the Housing Deposit?

The $200 Housing Deposit will be paid, along with the $75 non-refundable contract fee, as part of the sign-up process.

Are there waitlists for specific buildings?

No. There are no building-specific waitlists. If you have an on-campus housing contract, please use the room change process located within the Housing Portal.
