Mission Statement

The mission of the Utah State University Student Involvement and Leadership Center is to promote involvement and leadership development for all students. We cultivate growth through student organizations and co-curricular programs focused on intentional student learning. We exemplify student empowerment and enhance academic success.


Within the Student Involvement and Leadership Center, we guide students to incorporate these values:

Leadership: We expand the capacity of students to develop skills that enable them to manage themselves and inspire others.
Engagement: We provide diverse student involvement opportunities to create a community where co-curricular experiences strengthen and broaden student learning.
Accountability: We empower students with ownership over their area(s) of responsibility.
Persistence: We contribute to student progression and timely completion of educational goals.
Community: We encourage students to work together to develop intentional relationships, preparing students for their careers, citizenship, and lives
