Hurd Committee

What We Do

The HURD Committee sponsors many activities throughout the year to get students, faculty, and the community involved in Aggie athletics. These activities range from tailgates and campouts, to chartering buses and taking the HURD to the away games. Everyone is welcome to come!

The HURD Committee also organizes watch parties for important road games. These events are held in various locations around campus, and are open to all. The HURD Committee provides food for those in attendance.

For regional road rivalry games, the HURD should always make its presence known in full force. The HURD Committee often organizes carpools and buses to transport students to the events.

The HURD Committee is led by the Utah State University Student Association (USUSA) Athletics and Campus Recreation Vice President. That person is elected by a student body vote, as part of the USUSA elections that take place in late February or early March each year. Once elected, the USUSA Athletics VP opens up applications for the HURD Committee in April.

The HURD Committee for the 2022-23 academic year has been selected.

If you wish to join for the following academic year, we suggest getting involved at Athletic Games or Hurd specific events such as tailgating.
