Wondering which campus to choose when registering for classes?

  1. Choose the location you’ll be attending. Register for all of your classes at that location.
  2. If you were admitted to Logan but would like to take classes at one of our statewide campuses instead, please select the Statewide location nearest you
  3. What about online classes? Even if you are registering for online classes, you should select the campus location that is closest to where you plan to live. Each campus provides testing and other services to students at their location, including online students.
  4. Can I limit my search to a specific campus? To register for classes at a specific location, limit your search by selecting a specific campus in the Banner registration system. This filters out all other locations and narrows your search to the right sections.

Orientation at USU

The New Student Orientation process contains four modules that are designed to give you relevant information at the correct time.

Mission or Military Service
If you are deferring your admission to a future semester, you will start your orientation modules when you return. Students on a leave for mission or military service can catch up with all modules when they return, even if that is very close to the start of the semester.

Module 1: Pre-Registration
Covers all the preparations you can start now. Learn how much USU will cost, how to set up housing, and how to do the FAFSA, among other things.

Module 2: Registration
Covers everything you need to know to select classes and register for them. Learn how your previously-earned credits apply at USU, know what classes you should take, and how to register yourself for classes.

Module 3: Aggie Orientation
Aggie Orientation covers all the preparations you need to make and policies important to your education.

Module 4: Pre-Semester
Covers all the last-minute details you need to know before the semester begins as well as all the things you need to know during your first semester. Learn essential campus safety information, mental health resources, and much more.
