Going On or Returning from Deferment?
  • Students preparing for a deferment should complete the orientation modules during the semester they plan to return to Utah State University.
  • For students returning from a deferment, delegates may complete Modules 1 and 2 on the student’s behalf so the student can register for classes, if needed. The student should complete the remaining modules as soon as they are able.

Orientation at USU

The New Student Orientation process contains four modules that are designed to give you relevant information at the correct time.

Module 1: Pre-Registration
Learn about the costs of college, ways to pay for school, and important steps to complete before registering for classes.

Module 2: Registration

Learn how to use the registration system, when to register, and which classes to take.

Module 3: Aggie Orientation
Explore the resources available to help you succeed as a student. Students attending in Logan may complete this module in person during an Aggie Orientation Day.

Module 4: Pre-Semester
Review information about student expectations, campus safety, reporting options, and mental and physical health resources.
