How do I audit a class?
To audit a class, you must have an active student status and be one of the following:
- Admitted Student
- House Bill 60 (Utah resident age 62 or older)
- Senate Bill 0045 (Utah resident and eligible Veteran)
- *Benefitted USU Employees/Spouse/Retirees
Auditing is contingent upon course capacity, resource availability, and instructor approval. Once you have an active student status, you must submit the Registration Action form. This form will route to the instructor for approval.
*Benefitted USU Employees/Spouse/Retirees must submit the Human Resources (HR) audit form. This request is routed to HR to confirm the employee/spouse/retiree qualifies for this benefit.
Requests to audit may not be submitted prior to the first day of class. For additional information about auditing, please refer to the policy in the USU General Catalog.
