Counseling and Psychological Services
USU students with access to a campus are eligible for CAPS mental health services. Most services are free to qualified students, confidential, and not part of your academic or university records. Our staff is committed to meeting the needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including differences of culture, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, religion, ability, and sexual orientation. Sorenson Center for Clinical Excellence - Marriage and Family Therapy
The Marriage and Family Therapy division provides high quality, low cost marital and family therapy services to the public and provides a training environment for master's degree students majoring in marriage and family therapy. Therapy services are provided to address the following:
- Marital or family dissatisfaction
- Conflict, arguments, fighting, or violence
- Children's difficulties, including school achievement, relationships at home, or individual problems
- Sexual problems or concerns
- Repeated illnesses, especially those related to stress

Mind-Body Bridging Clinic
Alleviate psychological distress and enhance psychological resilience and general well-being with Mind-Body Bridging®. Services include individual therapy, group therapy, training and workshops, and resilience/wellness training.

Citizens Against Physical and Sexual Abuse (CAPSA)

CAPSA clinical therapists are trauma-informed experts in treating anxiety, depression and other disorders associated with abuse. CAPSA offers free and confidential clinical therapy for adults, teens, and children.
