These policies, however, can reinforce the "hidden curriculum" that privileges some students over others and re-entrenches norms and values that an anti-racist classroom should try to critique. This sparkshop will discuss what the "hidden curriculum" is, how to evaluate your course policies for normative ideologies and values, and lead you through workshopping your policies to make your classroom more inclusive, equitable, and antiracist.
