Flags at Half-Staff

Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert has authorized the lowering of the flag of the United States of America and Utah’s state flag Saturday, July 20, in honor of Utah’s former Attorney General Vernon Bradford Romney.

The flags will be flown at half-staff at all state facilities from sunrise to sunset July 20.

Romney served two terms as the Utah attorney general from 1969 to 1977. He died July 13, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah. His funeral is Saturday, July 20, at noon at the Highland East Stake Center in Highland, Utah.
