    USU Harrison Art Museum to Close for Renovation

    The Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art at Utah State University will be closed for the next year and a half to undergo a $5 million renovation and expansion. ... Katie Lee Koven, the museum’s director, said the NEHMA will close Dec. 10 and reopen in spring 2018. The museum, located within the Chase Fine Arts Center, is 25,000 square feet, houses 5,000 pieces of art and provides education programming to K-12 students and the general public. ... The project is part of the $25 million effort to renovate the Chase Fine Arts Center, according to Craig Jessop, dean of the Caine College of the Arts. That project started last year.
