Annual 'Artoberfest' to Showcase Student Art in Every Form

By Brooklyn Williams |

LOGAN, Utah — The Caine College of the Arts has announced the return of Artoberfest. This annual event showcasing the talent of theatre, music and art students will be from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 23 in the Taggart Student Center.

This one-night celebration features student performances in theater and music, art exhibitions and a creative atmosphere that has become a beloved tradition on campus.

The event, launched in 2014, typically features 20-30 art students selling and exhibiting their unique creations, with about 30 performers taking the stage to showcase their talents in theatre, music and more.

“Artoberfest helps people outside of our college see the hard work and passion we put in to create art,” said Caine College of the Arts Senator Lauren Tougas. “Students gain exposure and real-world experience.”

Visitors can expect a variety of student-made art available for purchase, along with an entertaining lineup of live performances.

Beyond showcasing talent, Artoberfest emphasizes the hard work that goes into creating art, showing the public firsthand the passion that drives USU’s students. The event is open to all USU students, faculty and the wider Logan community, inviting everyone to come together for a culturally enriching experience.

The Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University fosters creativity and artistic excellence through its diverse programs in theater, music and the visual arts.

The event is free and open to the public, no ticket required. A free arts and crafts activity for the public will be provided. For more information, visit the Caine College website.
