LOGAN, Utah — The Department of Art + Design presents its Annual Undergraduate Art Exhibition, celebrating the diversity of creative expression from students across various disciplines. The exhibition will run from Oct. 7 through Oct. 25 in the Daryl Chase Fine Arts Center’s Tippetts & Eccles Galleries.
This year’s exhibition will feature artwork from students at different stages in their academic journey, showcasing a tapestry of artistic development and creativity.
“The work is diverse and represents a variety of disciplines throughout the department, including drawing/painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and graphic design,” said Art + Design Department Head Kathy Puzey. “Each of these will give visitors a comprehensive view of the innovative work produced by current Art + Design students.”
With no specific theme guiding the exhibition, students can explore and express various concepts and topics through their art, promising a rich and diverse experience for all attendees.
The exhibition is a stepping stone for many of these young artists as they create portfolios and gain invaluable experience.
“It provides students with the opportunity to showcase their work in a professional space and allows for this work to be seen and engaged with by an audience,” Puzey said.
The exhibition promises to deliver a broad spectrum of works at various levels of expertise, from first-year students to graduating seniors.
The Annual Undergraduate Art Exhibition is an opportunity to experience contemporary student art in its many forms while engaging with a new generation of artists. The exhibition is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the website.
