News about New Drone Design Software goes International
Doug Hunsaker, assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, is offering a free online design tool.
News about the new drone design software tool from Utah State University that was featured in last week’s Utah State Today is getting a lot of attention from around the world.
In a story written by College of Engineering communication specialist Matt Jensen, the research by aerospace engineering faculty member Doug Hunsaker was in the spotlight. Hunsaker recently unveiled a new, free aircraft design tool called MachUp.
Since the story was published, the software site was inundated with 10,000 page views and received 2,000 new registered users from 98 countries.
The 3-D design tool is available to anyone online.
