Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages are invited to the 13th annual Bear River Celebration and Free Fishing Day at Logan's Willow Park West, 500 West 700 South. The celebration is hosted by USU Water Quality Extension, the City of Logan Environmental Department and the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Enjoy a day of free fishing and hands-on learning activities.

Saturday Nature Walk -- 10-11:30 a.m. Join us on your Saturday morning for a nature walk on the Preserve! During the tour, you'll learn about wetland science, native plant and animal species, the history of the Swaner Preserve. These tours take place on the generally flat terrain of the Swaner wetlands and are appropriate to anyone who is relatively active. Please come prepared for the outdoor conditions, sturdy boots or shoes (close-toed) are recommended along with a water bottle. 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm    Climbing Wall -- Swaner EcoCenter

Climbing Wall Hours -- Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. The Swaner EcoCenter indoor, wetland-themed climbing wall is open every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The climbing wall is open to most ages. We provide the climbing harness. Please wear closed toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver. Cost: $5 per climber or FREE for members!
