Please join us at the Museum of Anthropology on Saturday, August 10, for this exciting event! While tattoos have become popular in modern American culture, tattooing traditions are more than 5,000 years old. An illustrated lecture at 1 p.m. traces the development of tattoo practices from around the world. Docent-led tours of our "Otzi the Ice Man" and "Message on a Body" exhibits will take place throughout the day. Kids can participate in face painting or get a henna tattoo. The museum is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and admission is always FREE!
