Ally Resources
Use Ally to access alternative formats for your class documents, and other materials.
Canvas Resources
Canvas is used for assignment submission, file distribution, and class communication.
Kaltura (MyMedia)
Kaltura is used to record and stream instructor and student created videos.
Office 365
Students have access to Office 365, the whole Microsoft Office Suite, using their A number and strong password. Information here is tailored to how instructors might leverage it for collaboration.
Proctorio Resources
Proctorio allows students to take tests remotely, while ensuring that all testing requirements are met and verifiable.
Turnitin Resources
Turnitin is a plagiarism checking software that students can use to make sure they are citing sources properly within written homework.
Wooclap
Wooclap is a polling solution that makes presentations more interactive through live polls, word clouds, and more. Instructors may use it in class, but students can also use it to create interactive content for their presentations. Wooclap is available to all USU instructors, students, and staff at no additional cost.
Zoom
Your instructor may use Zoom to accommodate remote teaching. You will want to be prepared to use it.

Minimum Computer Specs
A machine that meets the following requirements will be sufficient for classroom required applications and available optional applications.
- 1.6GHZ processor with minimum 2 cores
- 8GB memory/RAM
- 250GB storage
- High speed Internet (Wi-Fi or wired) - minimum 1 Mbps download speed
- Speakers
- Microphone/input jack
- Webcam (Built-in or USB)
- Chrome Browser - You will need it for proctored exams and other web based programs.
