Utilizing Your Potential Within
Build a Strong Foundation
Starting your freshman year, you’ll take USU 1010 and USU 1050 to learn important concepts for college for a total of 3 credits.
Network with Students & Faculty
You are placed in a mentoring group with other freshman and more experienced students. Once a month, you will enjoy a free lunch together and discuss your goals and new experiences you are having.
Access Resources for Success
Through networking meals, Power Up events, and socials you will learn about the many resources for success that are available to all USU students such as: Academic Support, Community Engaged Learning, Financial Counselors, Honors, Study Abroad, and the Wellness Center.
Thrive Through Community
Aggie First Scholars is a tight-knit group. We meet regularly through socials and events to take a break from the grind and celebrate our successes. It's a great group to network and make new friends.
