Utilizing Your Potential Within
Build a Strong Foundation for Academic Success
Starting your freshman year, you’ll take USU 1010 and USU 1050 to learn important concepts for college such as scholarship, reflection, and self-advocacy for a total of 3 credits.
Network with Students & Faculty
You will be placed with a peer leader who has experienced life at USU already! They will nudge and encourage you to get the most out of your college experience, including attending weekly events and opportunities to meet future mentors in your college.
Access Student Services and Organizations
Through sponsored mentoring meals, Speaker Series events, and socials you will learn about the many resources for success that are available to all USU students such as: Community Engaged Learning, Campus Recreation, Financial Counselors, Honors, Study Abroad, Student Health & Wellness Center, and many more.
Thrive Through Community
Aggie First Scholars is a strong community of amazing individuals. We connect once a week to take a break from the grind, be there for each other, and celebrate each other's successes!
