Participating in a Wooclap Event in Class

Your instructor may use Wooclap to make class more interactive with live polls, quizzes, or Q&A activities. Wooclap runs in your browser – no app required – and works on any device with an internet connection and a browser (phone, tablet, or laptop). Depending on how your instructor sets it up, you may be asked to log in through Canvas to participate. In some cases, your instructor may choose to grade your participation or the answers you get correct, so it’s important to join and take part in the activities.

Logging in Through Canvas

If login through Canvas is required:

  1. Scan the Wooclap QR code or go to wooclap.com and enter the event code shared by your instructor.
  2. Wooclap will automatically direct you to the event in Canvas. If you’re not already logged in, you’ll be prompted to do so.
  3. Participate in the event through Canvas.

Logging in Outside of Canvas

If login through Canvas is not required:

  1. Scan the Wooclap QR code or go to wooclap.com and enter the event code shared by the instructor.
  2. If prompted, enter your name or a nickname.
  3. Participate as needed in the event.
