Utah State University’s Logos & Wordmarks
Utah State marks are immediately recognizable and should be the starting point when creating materials. An official logo must be present on all formal university communications, including advertisements, billboards, print pieces, and any other formal materials that represent the university. Marks should always be reproduced with the highest quality and consistency and should appear on the front and/or back cover of all printed communications.
Utah State University has an interest in maintaining a strong visual identity that symbolizes the Utah State brand and our university's impact throughout the state, nation, and world. For that reason, we use a limited number of colors for our logos: "Aggie" blue, white, black, and gray.
There are many logo options that can be used to promote a cause, show inclusion for minoritized groups and identities, and support cultural celebrations. Utah State's office of trademark licensing can help with ideas, suggestions, and options.
Marks cannot be used on the color red and cannot be modified or manipulated in any way. For additional logo guidelines, please see logo application.
Only use electronic files or print-ready artwork supplied by University Marketing and Communications, Trademark Licensing. Logos and wordmarks (marks) can only be created by University Marketing and Communications, Trademark Licensing. To request access to current logos, visit the brand toolkit section under visual management then logo library. If you need access to a logo or folder that you do not currently have access to, contact email@example.com. New logo requests should be made via the logo request form in Service Now.
University Logos & Wordmarks
The Utah State University logos combine two of our most identifiable visual branding components: the U State logo and the Utah State University wordmarks. University logos and wordmarks cannot be modified or manipulated in any way.
The Utah State University wordmarks refer to the university’s name in a distinct and individual style. Standard fonts will not accurately reproduce the typography. The formal university marks cannot be modified or manipulated in any way. University wordmarks may not be paired with text, graphics or other logos outside of the university logos shown above.
College/Administrative Logos & Wordmarks
The college and administrative logos consist of the college or administrative unit name above the one-line Utah State University wordmark with the U State mark on the left. College and administrative units also have wordmark only options that consist of the college or administrative unit name above the one-line wordmark. The wordmarks options include a left, right, and center justifications for design flexibility. Logos can only be created by University Marketing and Communications, Trademark Licensing.
