File Preparation

Canva is not a licensed vendor and cannot be used to produce or print items for the university.

To assist with the export of files from Canva please use the tips below.

Export for Digital

Share > Download
File Type > PNG or JPG

Export for Print

Share > Download
File Type > PDF Print

Check - Crop marks and bleed
Check - Flatten PDF
Color Profile > CMYK

NOTE: when adding crop and bleed insure that the artwork is off the artboard at least 0.125" this insures when in production that there is a seamless edge on all your artwork and no white space.

Export for Swag

Share > Download
File Type > SVG

If Possible:
• Open SVG in Adobe Illustrator
• Draw a box and give it no fill and no outline
• Top Menu > Select > Same > Fill & Stroke
• Delete all items selected
• Save File to send to Vendor
