At USU, we know every student has a unique path to graduation. Life happens. Maybe you’ve started but had to pause. Perhaps you’ve put off college for personal, family or work-related reasons. But it’s never too late to earn your college degree.

New scholarships are now available to help you finish, making it easier than ever to earn your college degree. Talk with an admissions specialist for help getting started. They can help answer any questions you might have about scholarship and financial aid opportunities relevant to you, student resources and options at USU. 

Scholarships Available


The Ivory Foundation Completion Scholarship provides eligible students with an individualized scholarship meant to provide a boost of financial support towards tuition and fees throughout the last stretch of their undergraduate education at USU.  


The Ivory Foundation Completion Scholarship is available to former USU bachelor's students who meet the following criteria:

  • Are returning to school after a break of at least 2 years
  • Are within 30 credits of completing their degree
  • Are committed to completing their degree within 18 months of their return
The Adult Learner Grant is now available to students completing one of the following online degrees/certificates:

Dietetic Internship Certificate, General Technology associates, Communicative Disorders & Deaf Education bachelors, History bachelors, Marketing bachelors, Management bachelors, Hotel Management bachelors, Human Resource Management bachelors, RN to BSN Completion, Master of Public Health Nutrition, Master of Veterinary Public Health, or Master of Aviation Science.

Eligibility requirements:

  • 26 years or older
  • Enrolled in an online program listed above
  • Utah resident
  • Completed FAFSA
To apply, students must complete the USU General Scholarship application in Scholarship Universe. By doing so, eligible students are automatically matched with the Adult Learner Grant Program scholarship. For questions, contact Dan Allred at dan.allred@usu.edu.
