Immigration Advisors

International Friends Program
The International Friends Program (IFP) helps connect USU’s international students and visiting scholars with the community in Cache Valley. Programs include Family Connections, Outdoor Recreation, IFP Hikers, Conservation Groups and Resources, and Special Events.

Utah State University alumnus Alec Arditti, who earned a master of science in watershed sciences in 2023, has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award to study wildfire recovery in Sardinia, Italy.
Seventeen Utah State University students, including four from USU Eastern, traveled to Iceland for a study abroad program that immersed them in wildlife ecology, renewable energy, agriculture and sustainability through hands-on learning.
When Avery Truman arrived at Utah State University as a first-year student, she knew she loved science but she didn’t yet know what to do with that love. She knew she was curious about the natural world, fascinated by everything from wildlife to astronomy. She knew she liked to write, too. What she didn’t know was that those interests could combine to become her path.
