Amenities
Partial Utilities Included
Your monthly rent includes water, sewer, garbage, internet and cable TV. Electricity charges will be paid directly to the University with your rent each month. The only utility bill paid to an outside company will be for natural gas service. These units do not have air conditioning.

Each apartment has a cable TV hookup, giving you access to over 80 TV channels, including ESPN & Disney. Simply connect your own TV and you're all set up.
24/7 On-Call Maintenance
Our staff is available 24/7 to assist you with any maintenance needs. Submit a maintenance request online at any time and we'll take care of it for you.
Ethernet Port
Each apartment has an ethernet port to give you internet access through the University network.
You may also connect your own router if you would like wireless internet coverage throughout the apartment.
About the Community
Living Here
Family Housing at USU is a community of students who are married and/or who have children living in the apartments of Aggie Village, the Townhomes, and West Stadium Villa.
The many apartments in Family Housing welcomes a large and diverse population of students. Residents have numerous opportunities to learn from each other about different cultures, abilities and religious beliefs. Our residents come from all walks of life, all stages of life and marriage, and study a large variety of disciplines at USU.
The Family Housing community is exceptional because of the willingness of our residents to work together for the benefit of the community. You can see more information about the community, the Family Housing Office, our activities and other amenities.
Family Housing also has many sustainable efforts, including:
- Large recycling receptacles located in each housing community
- Bicycle racks next to the buildings
- Bike hooks installed on Aggie Village porches by request
- Insulation boards sold out of the Aggie Village office to insulate windows during hot or cold seasons
Aggie Village apartments were constructed in the 1960s and have been well maintained over the years. The Aggie Village community includes 39 buildings with 12 apartments in each building. Every apartment has a full kitchen and one bathroom. A two bedroom apartment is 760 ft2.

Traditions
Our community has many amazing traditional activities and classes for adults and children. The most famous of these includes our Summer Movie Nights on the Lawn, Halloween Carnival, and Easter Egg Hunt. These activities traditionally have hundreds of residents in attendance, but we also provide smaller activities for each small community within Family Housing.
There are also various clubs within our community for residents who have specific interests. Our current clubs include an International Wives Club, All about Tots Club, Game Night, Engineering Club, and Family Field Trip Club.
In addition to these activities and clubs, we provide classes to residents on cooking, sewing/crafting, better homes and families, and Zumba. These classes are overseen by an Educational Coordinator so that they are always high quality and useful to our residents.
Our goal in providing these activities and programs is to help residents meet their neighbors, provide fun and low cost or free activities for families and couples, and to help residents find stress relief from their hectic schedules and lives.
Area Council
We have a council of residents who represent all Family Housing residents to USU Housing and the University. This council, called the Family Housing Area Council, is charged with helping to improve the area, providing feedback to Housing Administration, and providing opportunities for growth and development by participating in the Residence Hall Association’s General Council Meetings. The Family Housing Area Council also provides a number of activities to our residents, the most notable of which is the annual Yard Sale at the end of each Spring Semester, giving our residents an opportunity to sell unwanted belongings for whatever profit they are able to gain.

Apartments in Aggie Village are not furnished, allowing you to use your own furniture and décor to transform the apartment into your home.
Each apartment does include:

- Hookups for washer and gas dryer
All apartments have wall-to-wall carpeting in the living room, hallway and bedrooms. The kitchens, bathrooms and entryways have hard surface flooring. Bathrooms are equipped with a full-size bathtub/shower, toilet, and sink. Shower curtain is not included.
