Aggie Involvement House is a learning community for students who want to get involved, learn how to plan and execute large events, and develop their leadership skills. Residence Life, in collaboration with Student Involvement and USUSA, brings prestigious presenters and mentors into the residence hall to meet with residents where they live to share dinner and connect residents with the types of involvement opportunities they’re most interested in.

Global Village

USU’s Global Village offers a vibrant and supportive living community where international students can connect with peers from around the world. Resident Assistants (RAs) create engaging programs that explore global perspectives, provide academic support, and help residents adjust to life in the U.S. Events such as global potlucks, language exchange programs, and networking opportunities with international student organizations help students build connections and expand their understanding of the world. This unique living experience allows students to form friendships, share traditions, and develop valuable cross-cultural skills while enjoying the convenience of on-campus living.

Global Village is located in the Student Living Center in Jones Hall. To help foster this globally focused community, apartments have been set aside specifically for international students who would like to live with others who share similar experiences. To request to live in the Global Village apartments, please contact the USU Housing Office.

Engineering Housing

USU’s South Campus Engineering Themed Housing provides an engaging community where residents can connect with fellow engineering students and participate in unique, hands-on experiences. Resident Assistants (RAs) create specialized programs, including study sessions, engineering workshops, networking events with faculty and professionals, and fun design challenges. These opportunities help residents enhance their academic success, develop practical skills, and build lasting connections in the field of engineering—all while enjoying the convenience and support of on-campus living.

Students interested in joining the Engineering Themed Housing can sign up when they check into South Campus. To further foster a collaborative environment, two apartments—Ridgepoint 206 and 209—have been set aside specifically for engineering students who would like to live with peers in their field. To sign up for one of those spaces, email the USU Housing Office. This option provides an opportunity for deeper academic connections and shared experiences within the engineering community.
