Best Buddies USUSA Best Buddies USUSA is a club at Utah State University associated with the nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization Best Buddies International. This organization is dedicated to establishing a local volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, support those who have been diagnosed with IDD, and serve together within the community. |
Big Band Swing Dance Club The USU Big Band Swing Club is for the learning and practice of big band swing dance, including dances such as the Charleston, East Coast Swing, and Lindy Hop (these dances were particularly popular during the early twentieth century, and features jazz music from artists such as Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, and Ella Fitzgerald). Our club is super social and very beginner friendly, with an instruction period at the start of every weekly meeting in the HPER. We will also hold formal dances with live music at an off-campus venue periodically throughout the semester; perfect for date night or going out with friends! |
Bigfoot Club The purpose of the Bigfoot Club is to promote interest and research in the subject of Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, and to provide a community for individuals who share this interest. We will also attempt to find Bigfoot. |

Black Student Union The Black Student Union (BSU) is a student-led organization at Utah State University established to promote a higher level of Black consciousness, advancement and mutual understanding among all cultures and people. The BSU serves to provide information to its members and raise cultural awareness within the community at large. Every Spring, we host our annual Soul Food Dinner at USU’s Logan campus. Filled with reggae beats and smells of good, home-cooked food, the night of the BSU’s Soul Food Dinner brings students and community members from all over Cache Valley together. |
Cadaver Lab Club The main purpose of the Cadaver Lab Club is to assist Dr. Andy Anderson in giving workshops of the cadaver lab to groups of visitors, providing education and exposure of anatomy to the community, students, and health professionals. This is achieved through a hands-on approach and exposure to the cadavers and to the dissections that Utah State students have created. |
Calisthenics Club Our main goal is to provide a foundation of what calisthenics is, and allow an individual to exercise and gain strength primarily by one’s body weights. This includes static and dynamic exercise; examples of this include multiple variations of pull ups, pushups, dips, abs exercise and yes – legs too. “Basically full body!” End goals may be simple as learning a pull up, being able to do 10 push ups, or doing defying gravity moves for which calisthenics is famous for: muscles-up, pistol squats, handstands, front lever, back fever, human flag, and the infamous planche. |

Days for Girls Days for Girls is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to assist women worldwide with menstrual kits, health education, and income-generating opportunities for women. Here at Utah State University, our primary contribution is to sew and assemble reusable and washable menstrual kits. These kits will be distributed internationally to women in need. To participate in the club, all you need is a desire to serve (no sewing experience is needed)! |

We focus on identifying the most pressing global issues (like global health, biosecurity, and risks that impact many) and taking actionable steps to address them. Entomology Club Our mission is to provide a forum for students to learn about insects and present their research. We pride ourselves in the diversity of opportunities we facilitate for students and the USU community through participation in events such as Science Unwrapped, USU Insect Tours, and insect collecting trips for club members. Through these activities, we aim to educate our local community about the astounding biodiversity and importance of arthropods. |

National Student Speech Language Hearing Association The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) club is for the students in the Communication Disorders and Deaf Education undergraduate program at Utah State University. NSSLHA has a variety of events throughout the semester including various service projects, shadow nights with Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, and other diversity, equity, and inclusion activities. Operation Smile Operation Smile is an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities. Student Clubs annually contribute much-needed funds to the surgical costs of the children, as well as donate hundreds of toys and school supplies for the patients and their families through service and fundraising throughout the community. Operation Smile Student Programs empowers youth globally through advocacy, education, leadership, and service. |
