The USU Big Band Swing Club is for the learning and practice of big band swing dance, including dances such as the Charleston, East Coast Swing, and Lindy Hop (these dances were particularly popular during the early twentieth century, and features jazz music from artists such as Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, and Ella Fitzgerald). Our club is super social and very beginner friendly, with an instruction period at the start of every weekly meeting in the HPER. For example, each year Utah State University's Music Therapy Forum is organized and presented entirely by students to advocate for the benefits of music therapy within the community. DNA club provides a space for students to work with USU leaders on addressing accessibility issues surrounding disability as well as the stigmas regarding disability on campus by bridging gaps between able-bodied people and disabled people and advocating for disability-inclusive policy.

Operation Smile is an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities. Our main goal is to provide a foundation of what calisthenics is, and allow an individual to exercise and gain strength primarily by one’s body weights. This includes static and dynamic exercise; examples of this include multiple variations of pull ups, pushups, dips, abs exercise and yes – legs too. “Basically full body!” End goals may be simple as learning a pull up, being able to do 10 push ups, or doing defying gravity moves for which calisthenics is famous for: muscles-up, pistol squats, handstands, front lever, back fever, human flag, and the infamous planche. - Coed Rec Ultimate Frisbee Club

| Big Band Swing Dance Club The USU Big Band Swing Club is for the learning and practice of big band swing dance, including dances such as the Charleston, East Coast Swing, and Lindy Hop (these dances were particularly popular during the early twentieth century, and features jazz music from artists such as Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, and Ella Fitzgerald). Our club is super social and very beginner friendly, with an instruction period at the start of every weekly meeting in the HPER. | Calisthenics Club Our main goal is to provide a foundation of what calisthenics is, and allow an individual to exercise and gain strength primarily by one’s body weights. This includes static and dynamic exercise; examples of this include multiple variations of pull ups, pushups, dips, abs exercise and yes – legs too. “Basically full body!” End goals may be simple as learning a pull up, being able to do 10 push ups, or doing defying gravity moves for which calisthenics is famous for: muscles-up, pistol squats, handstands, front lever, back fever, human flag, and the infamous planche. |

We educate students on their own civil rights, disability laws, resources available to them and how to be a self-advocate. DNA club provides a space for students to work with USU leaders on addressing accessibility issues surrounding disability as well as the stigmas regarding disability on campus by bridging gaps between able-bodied people and disabled people and advocating for disability-inclusive policy. These lives are saved by normal people like us who make an extraordinary decision to join the NMDP registry to potentially donate blood stem cells or bone marrow to a patient in dire need. As a student chapter of NMDP, we participate in recruitment for their donor registry and in fundraising to help fund their efforts. |
