The HURD

The HURD is a student-led organization that brings the Aggie spirit, pride, and tradition to Utah State. The HURD is responsible for providing a loud, fun, and passionate student section at all home athletic events. We bring Aggie Spirit everywhere we go. We are LOUD and we are PROUD. We are the HURD, and we're the rowdiest, loudest, biggest and best fans of USU Athletics.

All USU students have admission to any regular season home athletic event by claiming a ticket. Upon entry into Maverik Stadium, the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, or any other gameday venue, every student is a member of the HURD. We are loud and crazy, and have been described by ESPN, Nike, Ballin' is a Habit, Fox Sports and many other national news outlets as one of the best student sections in the country. We are smart, unified, creative, and downright insane. Join us, and BE HURD!

Sponsor the HURD

The Hurd is headed to the Mountain West Tournament — and we’re bringing the energy, the noise, and nonstop Aggie pride to Las Vegas. We’re taking a full section of passionate USU students to rep loud, proud, and on a big stage.

You can support The Hurd and help send students to the game with a donation of any amount — every dollar helps get Aggies in the arena. Businesses or individuals who donate $500 or more will have their logo featured on our official tournament shirts (deadline 2/26), seen by fans in Vegas and all over social media.

Welcome to The HURD Memories, a digital archive dedicated to preserving and celebrating experiences of The HURD community.

HURD Premium

HURD Premium is an optional program created to enhance your student-fan experience at USU, as well as build engagement and a sense of community amongst the Aggie faithful. HURD Premium membership is only available to current USU students (spouses who possess a valid spouse pass may also join) and costs $30 per year.

Hurd Hall of Fame

Established in January 2024, the Hurd Hall of Fame honors individuals whose lasting impact has shaped the spirit, culture, and camaraderie of Utah State University’s Hurd student section. This prestigious recognition celebrates those who went above and beyond to leave their mark on Aggie game days and the Hurd legacy.
