Financial Options

You have several options to help pay for your studies. Visit usu.edu/financial-support for more information.

  • Federal aid: Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to qualify for federal loans and grants.
  • State of Utah Programs: The Adult Learner Grant for students who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled in eligible online programs.
  • Scholarships: Find, apply, and accept USU and private scholarships easily, all in one portal with ScholarshipUniverse.
  • Student Money Management Center: Set a budget and plan your finances for the year with a financial coach.
  • Payment Plans: Enroll in a payment plan to pay your tuition over three or four payments throughout the semester.

You can also explore working while you complete your classes. Approximately 80% of USU Online students work either part- or full-time while in school.
